Due to the high number of lesson cancellations at short notice which I am then unable to refill, and the increasing number of people on my waiting list who are willing to start lessons but cannot at short notice. I have reviewed my policy on lesson cancellations. This will allow me to better plan my days, so I don’t have unexpected gaps and allow those waiting to start driving lessons to do so sooner.

 

Therefore, with effect from the 11th October the following terms and conditions clauses will be updated as follows:

 

11.  The Pupil agrees that under normal conditions he/she can keep all appointments made or take steps to rearrange them no later than 48 hours before the said lesson appointment. If the required 48 hours’ notice to cancel or rearrange is not provided the lesson will be charged for in full. If you have prepaid on a block of lessons the required hours will be deducted from your balance. If the instructor is unable to carry out a lesson for any reason, they will carry over the fee paid to the next rearranged lesson.

 

15.  The Pupil shall pay the lesson fee at least 48hours in advance of each lesson by Bank transfer, PayM, or PayPal if possible, or by any other form of electronic payment option, I may offer.  Payment of lesson fees via Cash cannot be accepted.

 

This means

 

• You must pay for your lesson 48hours before the lesson.

• You must give me 48hrs notice of a lesson cancellation unless it is COVID related, in which case you cannot have another lesson until you have had confirmation of a negative Covid test or have been in isolation for 10 days.  

• Failure to do so will result in the lesson being charged in full.
